BGWS 027 – Tahuantinsuyu with Alan Ernstein

Tahuantinsuyu is a medium-weight strategy game where players build roads, thumb cities, and temples in a historical setting based on the Inca empire. (27:22)

This week on Board Games with Scott, game designer and publisher Alan Ernstein joins me to talk about his game, Tahuantinsuyu. This game is set in the Inca empire and many of the elements about the game are based on history. In the game, players are building roads, cities, and temples as they expand the glorious empire. Clever card play and changing turn length force players to adjust strategies to changing game situations.
