Adel Verplichtet is a classic eurogame about choosing actions secretly based upon what you think the others will pick. (9:28)
This week in Board Games with Scott, I take a look at a game that I’ve got some sentimental feelings for, Adel Verpflichtet. This is a blind selection Eurogame that was Game of the Year in 1990. This game also was my “gateway game”, meaning it’s the first Eurogame I ever played. Adel Verpflichtet is out of print, but has been reprinted as Hoity Toity.

Scott — You are doing an excellent service with your vlogs, and you are doing them well. I learned of your site when I saw you nominated for one of the awards on Gone Gaming. I look forward to all your future presentations.
Also — your introduction to the range of boardgames vlog was outstanding. You have a knack for succinctly summarizing a complex (or simple) game and providing enough basic information to allow a person to ignore the game or research it more. Great job!

Great show, Scott.
After viewing your videos, I often go to Board Game Geek to view additional information about the games. It would be nice if you put a link to the BGG entry in each of your writeups.
Thanks!

Actually, it would be neat if you could do reviews or “how to use” other boardgame sites.
